Joe Feddersen has shown extensively throughout the Pacific Northwest for two decades. Vital Signs, a mid-career solo exhibition is currently on view at the Tacoma Art Museum. Evergreen College opens Pattern Recognition an exhibit of both prints and glass, including a new installation of 19 vessels inspired by Eva Hesse's work, on November 16, 2009. Joe Feddersen has had solo exhibits at the George Gustav Heye Center in New York, NY and his recent group shows range from the Sixth Triennial Small Print Exhibition, Chamalieres, France to New Art of the West, Eiteljorg Museum, Indianapolis.
Feddersen is frequently a visiting artist at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, WA, as part of their ongoing Summer Hot Shop Artists Series.
His glass baskets have been reviewed in Matthew Kangas' book Craft and Concept: The Rematerialization of the Art Object.
