Joe Feddersen has exhibited internationally since the early 1980's. Vital Signs, a mid-career solo exhibition is currently on view at the Hallie Ford Museum at Willamette University, Salem, OR. Pattern Recognition, a recent exhibit at Evergreen State College, included a new installation of 24 vessels inspired by Eva Hesse's work. This installation, Codex, will be exhibited at Froelick Gallery in April 2010. Joe Feddersen has had solo exhibits at the George Gustav Heye Center in New York, NY and his group shows range from the Sixth Triennial Small Print Exhibition, Chamalieres, France to New Art of the West, Eiteljorg Museum, Indianapolis.
Feddersen has been a visiting artist at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, WA, multiple times as part of their ongoing Summer Hot Shop Artists Series.
His glass baskets have been reviewed in Matthew Kangas' book Craft and Concept: The Rematerialization of the Art Object.
