From Nothing Coyote Creates Himself, 2004

Sculpture carved wood
41 x 84 x 16 in

Coyote is nothing if not inventive. In this piece his witness is a crow who is an equally 'full of tricks' character. I suppose the literal truth here is that we all create ourselves with the aide of our talents, or situations of adversity or benefit.
Rick Bartow, 2005
