Joe Feddersen: Vital Signs
Hallie Ford Museum
January 30 – March 28, 2010
Northwest artist Joe Feddersen is a printmaker, basket weaver, and glass artist who combines traditional forms and symbols drawn from his Native American heritage with contemporary imagery. His highly regarded work explores the relationship of culture and the landscape and urban place markers and indigenous designs. The resulting work is both coolly modern and warmly expressionistic.
The Hallie Ford Museum will be the final venue for this touring exhibition of more than 60 works. Vital Signs is accompanied by an exhibition catalogue.
